What is a POD?
You! If you were born or live in the metro Detroit area, you are a Product of Detroit or a POD.
Your services, creations or merchandise are PODs too. Artists, poets, entertainers and all around creative and talented folks are everywhere here. They're producing art and music that can't be ignored. From designers to DJ's and sculptors to singers, Detroit has a very distinctive style and spirit.
But hold on - it's NOT that easy. You also should be proud of Detroit. At times we are forced to face challenging social and political issues in our fair city.. But the history, character, culture and resilience of Detroit and it's people is extraordinary.
A Product of Detroit simply represents strong character, high quality and heart. I guess it IS that easy.
